Aw sic tang gong dong wah
So, I'm starting a cantonese language class on monday... the course actually started yesterday, so I had to miss the first class for the Le Tigre concert... Hopefully I'll be able to catch up on monday! YAY!How to describe last night?
Hmmm... last night at the Le Tigre concert was very.... interesting.... I'm not quite sure how I should explain... let's try award-show style:
Audience: Most Androgynous Crowd award
Cannonball Jane (opening band #1): Surpise entrance award, Super-positive attitude award
Gravy Train (opening band #2): Most Undressed award, Best underwear-wearing (male) cheerleading award, Award for using the words "dick" and "Titties" the most times in a performance.
Le Tigre: Best Performance award, award for the best "butch lesbian" pride song, award for the best rendition of "I'm so excited" of the night.
Votes for other awards are still being tallied

Friday Thoughts
I know that the title of this post is "Friday Thoughts", but there is very little thinking going into this post... I bought a microphone last night... this weekend I think that I'll start making Flash cartoons... we'll see how that goes.... I'm actually looking forward to it... but then again... It's easy to come up with grand ideas and then be overcome by the urge to slack later on...
Other than helping someone move on sunday, I think that I'm going to do very little this weekend... Maybe a little bit of drinking/checkers/video games tonight (depending on initiative and participant willingness to travel to scarlem).... but maybe not.... lounging around watching movies sounds really good too....
On a side note, I think that more people should be posting on their blogs more frequently....

It appears that RatFang is about to drink a coffee.... now in case some of you aren't familiar with the eating habits of RatFangs, RatFangs do not usually consume coffee... in fact, they rarely consume caffeine at all... Let's sit back and see what happens!

I just found out that there is a place in scarborough that offers a beginners course in cantonese... it's 8 sessions for only $80... but I've already missed the first 3 sessions! CRAP! I've been looking for a course in cantonese for a long time... if anyone knows of one, please let me know...

I'm so tired.... It's amazing how many of my blog entries start like that... but I really do feel exausted this morning... I've been at work for an hour and a half so far and haven't really accomplished anything... America! Fuck Ya!
I went to see Team America: World Police yesterday.... it was a lot funnier than I thought it would be.... They made fun of pretty much everyone... and (as usually from the creators of South Park) the music was really funny...
...I'm looking forward to the DVD... They cut out all the parts with Kerry & Bush and apparently some parts of the puppet sex scene were cut (although I'm kind of afraid to see what they cut out of that scene!)

Happy Febtoberfest!
It's friday.... I'm leaving in 45 minutes... And tomorrow is Oktoberfest! Yay! Me so happy! Even though I did no work today... and sadly, I'm not exaggerating much.
Friday.. Can I make it?
I am soooo tired.... I was really tired yesterday too.... I've been soooo unproductive in the last couple of days... yesterday, all of the managers were gone... so there was a whole lotta slackin' goin' on.... today, I can't shake that slacker-vibe... I just want to go home and go to sleep.... sweet sweet sleep!
On a brighter note, I'm going to the Fedrick Restaurant for dinner tonight... mmmm... Hakka food!

Hotmail is Hot Again
Just finished checking my e-mail.... Yesterday, I was using about 55% of my mailbox space... but today, when I logged in, it said that I was only using 1%.... I got scared at first (i.e. wtf happened to my e-mails?)... but it turns out that Microsoft finally implemented that 250Mb storage limit that they talked about months ago....
Hotmail is finally usable again! Thanks Bill!

Checkersh Anyone?
I bought the coolest drinking game last night... it's a game of checkers... yeah, I know... you're thinking "Checkers isn't cool!"... but you're wrong! This game of checkers IS cool! I'd go as far as saying that it's the Top Of Cool!
It's a glass board... wait for it...with shot glasses as pieces! instead of black & white... it's frosted & clear... you fill your pieces with your shot of choice... when you lose a piece, you have to drink it... isn't that brilliant???

Ratfang, Where are you hiding that horseshoe?
Had a good weekend. Friday was Wendy's birthday..... good times at a couple of bars... then some good shopping and popcorn on saturday.... relaxing saturday evening with jen.... On Sunday, had a big thanksgiving dinner... and then a nap...
At about 11:30pm on sunday, we left G-town for Niagara Falls to go to the new casino there... I was tempted not to go (because we wouldn't be back until really late).. but, I went because tuesday is Jason's b-day... I played slots and was doing pretty well... Usually, I'm a drifter when it comes to slot machines... I play a couple of quarters in a machine and then move on... but eventually, I found a fun machine that played the song Wild Thing and had a bunch of sound effects... By this time, jason was done playing BlackJack and came over to wait for the rest of us... he was watching me play this machine and looked really bored... I was playing mostly one credit at a time (occationally I would bet 3), but, since Jason looked so bored, I started playing 3 at a time to hurry myself along... When Jason saw me do this (I found out later) he thought to himself "what a waste of money"... however, after about 3 spins, I hit the jackpot... I got the biggest payout that the machine can give.... $625!! Whooohooo!

Behold, fellow Blogspotians, RatFang has returned! All bow down before me! But really... my Xanga blogring has been pretty pathetic as of late and so, I have returned to blogspot....
