You'd think that, since I'm in early, I would want to write a lengthy post... but you'd be wrong... I'm just tired...
I had to move my stuff down to Waterloo last night... it ended up taking all day... picking up my parents van, driving back to my place, driving to waterloo, unpacking, dropping off the van, picking up the last couple of things, then going to jen's... bah! And since the road was blocked off, when I was unloading the van, I had to cart everything down the street... argh.... ok... bitchfest complete...

I hate waterloo...

So, I'm moving my stuff to waterloo tomorrow... taking the day off work because I can't move on the weekend... My sister is moving into her new place on saturday so I'm going to be helping her.... The "wonderful" construction workers of waterloo, sensing that I would be moving in this week, have just blocked off the road in front of my house.... I can't get to the driveway so I'm going to have to carry all of my stuff down the street in order to move it in! Argh!... well, at least I'm not a girl for them to gawk at! (that stereotype is true, you know...)

The Swan: Competing for the Ultimate Drag-Name

If you haven't heard of Fox's "The Swan", it's a reality show where they try to make ugly people beautiful using plastic surgery, libosuction, etc... I just looked at the Swan website... they have a gallery of the before & afters.... I didn't know that looking like a drag-queen was "in"! Damn! Those girls look like freakin' transvestites! I think that those girls should sue!... at least before they looked like women (most of them at least), true, UGLY women... but WOMEN nonetheless... now they look like men TRYING to look like women... so creepy...

So strange... my boss asked me to update a small section of a user guide (it was a very small section and really didn't need to be changed all that much)... I took about a whole day to do it... and he seemed REALLY surprised that I finished "really fast"... strange... I was really taking my sweet-ass (oh, and it IS sweet) time about it. :P

Oh Well...

Came in really late today... around 11:45... my boss actually noticed this time and asked if I was ok... hahah... yeah, I'm fine.... just really lazy... :)

My pop can pyramid, which once stretched above my cubicle wall, has come crashing down! It took me nearly a half hour to clean it up!... But I left one can... the FIRST can... as a memorial to the once great pyramid!

An Ignorant Question...

I don't want to become political here, but I'm quite confused. From what I understand of the Palestine-Israel conflict, the palestinians seem to want ALL of the disputed land... What I don't understand is, how can something like that be solved through "negotiations"? If you're not willing to conceid anything, how can you negotiate? I'm obviously missing something here... I would appreciate someone correcting me on this..

Apprentice: The Final Showdown!

Tonight is the 2-hour live final episode of The Apprentice... There were previously rumours that Katrina had leaked the winner to the press... that is apparently untrue since the final episode is Live... anyway... I think that I would prefer that Kwame win just because I'm not a big fan of bill... but I don't care too much at this point... I just hope that someone gives Omerosa a good kick in the ass!

I just tried to buy a bag of Sun Chips from the vending machine... apparently the price of Sun Chips has gone up quite a bit since the last time I bought them. I put in a Toonie and pressed 'A3'... the machine beeped at me and told me that the actual price of a bag of Sun Chips is $12.10... news to me!

I can't wait until this work term is over! I dread coming in here every morning... at least there's less than 3 weeks left! hmmm.... what else?... nothing really... apparently the gouvernment wants me to file my taxes... Who do they think they are? haha... oh well...
On a brighter note, my sister is moving into her own apartment at the end of the month... that makes her AND my parents very happy... I think they'll get along much better when they're not living together...

Cold Vs. Strep

Jen got strep throat over the weekend... I was pretty sure that I was going to get it too... but, it seems that I didn't... I've had a bit of a cold for a while... I think that my cold might have fought off the strep... I'm not sure if that's even possible, but it's what I choose to believe!
I'm trying to be productive at work today... and it's certainly not fun... I'd almost like to get strep throat so that I can have a valid excuse to miss work... but I'm sure that I'd regret that wish if it actually came true...

F*** You Mr. Munchy!

Seeing as it's the last work day before the Easter long weekend (and since I don't usually post on weekends), I figure that it's time for an Eater-related pointless rant. Subject: Easter Chocolate.
More specifically, the stupid "ric crisps" that they add to certain chocolate bunnies (e.g. Mr. Munchy)... Who was the brilliant guy that came up with this winner of an idea...hmmm.... let's pour some freakin' cereal into the chocolate! All that it does is dilute the chocolate which, I'm sure, makes it much cheaper to produce... personally, I'm not a big fan of the whole chocolate + breakfast cereal combo... Next thing you know there will be a Mr. Fruity with freaking fruit mixed in... or Mr. Sizzle with chunks of bacon and/or sausage... Way to go Allen inc.! But don't get me wrong, I'd take a Mr. Solid any day!

It's amazing how simple things can cheer me up (at least a little bit)... Today, I'm wearing my Happy Tree Friends shirt... and that always makes me smile a little... There doesn't seem to be a dress code here so I decided that I may as well... yesterday my boss was wearing some beat up looking t-shirt with some random design on the front... I really like this shirt.. it's pretty twisted... cute little bunny head with the words "be afraid"... hahahaha

BAH!

So tired.... I know that I start a lot of posts this way, but it seems to be a chronic condition with me... I had a lot of trouble sleeping last night... and then this morning it took me over an hour to drag my lazy butt out of bed... Finally got ready for work and realized that all of my pants still hadn't dried even though they had been hanging up since saturday! WTF, mate?!?! anyhoo... I'm at work now... don't really feel like doing anything... but at least I have pizza for lunch... W00t! Yes, I said it! oh, I'm really getting sucked into this computer world... aaahhhhh!

Happy April Fool's day everyone! So, this morning at about 3:30am, I got up to cover my roommate's doorway with saranwrap. I decided that I should do something to celebrate april 1st, so that was it. Luckily, she walked into it as I had hoped (That's the point of using saran wrap... it's not easily seen)... But now I'm not sure that it was entirely worth it because I'm really tired... oh well, some things are worth sacrificing for.
